My favorite restaurant at my favorite hotel in Beijing. The menu options are only surpassed by the fabulous service which is friendly and efficient. The Peking duck is exquisite but the most unforgettable dish is the sweet and sour fried tiger prawns; the wild mushrooms are also stuff that dreams are made of. Paired with a bottle of the plum drink, a good time with plenty of cheer is certainly guaranteed! NOTE: avoid the roasted lamb shank as it was a huge letdown... reasonable crispy on the outside but the meat was very dry and tough, almost inedible, sadly

Located in the Novotel hotel building, second floor (elevators on your right when you enter the lobby). This restaurant is not cheap compared to chinese restaurants outside BUT the Beijing duck (you can ask for a half duck for two) is realy good and price worthy (compared to other places). Menu is also in english and with photos. Beware: portions are large. For two, a half duck one main course one starter is far enough! Courses will be served when ready like in any genuine chinese restaurant: starter may arrive after the main dish. Relax and enjoy the food.

Maravilhoso restaurante de cozinha típica chinesa. Recomendo fortemente o famoso Pato Laqueado de Beijing. O ótimo atendimento é garantido por um staff super simpático e atencioso. Os pratos são bem servidos e a um preço muito justo. O restaurante fica localizado dentro do Novotel Beijing Xing Qiao, muito tranquilo, confortável é tipicamente decorado com motivos orientais (chineses)
