Utley Fisheries

I popped in tonight with my daughter, and ordered two portions of fish and chips. The ladies were very kind the owner kindly gave a soft drink to my daughter (she wouldn't take my money)... Very kind gesture. Anyway the food was spot on, and would recommend them to all. Try them you won't be disappointed

Good piece of haddock. Fat very dark and old looking but didn't smell too much. Batter a bit thick and overdone for me. Chips ok but bit overdone. Tasty dripping chippy.

Just ordered Fish, chips and peas for me and Gluten free fish and chips for my wife. On arrival to collect them I had forgotten a mask and didn't have enough cash to pay the whole bill, as it has always been card payments. There are new owners who were brilliant. They are awaiting the bank to get them their card machine! They gave me my order and I left them the cash I did have. They said it was ok. We introduced ourselves and I assured them that I will return to clear what I owe. Thank you once again for your kindness and understanding.

Enjoyed are fish and chips this evening There were very nice and hot. Will call again in the near future.

Fish was ok although the batter was very greasy and heavy. Felt very doughy. First time I'd been and was just ok.
