Very fast and high quality repairs. I took my laptop in which had some major problems which they sorted (including changing several parts, cleaning the inside, applying new thermal paste and data recovery) within about 5 hours. Would highly recommend their fast and professional high quality service

The shop failed to fix my laptop, declaring it completely dead and an \expensive doorstop\. This would be all well and good, sometimes hardware fails, if I were not currently typing this review on said laptop. After taking my \scrap\ laptop back from the shop, I decided to see if I could attempt to fix the corrupt BIOS. After attempting to flash the BIOS with a USB, I got nothing. Determined not to have to buy a brand new laptop, I decided to take it to PC world's Team Knowhow. Given I was under the assumption that my laptop was now an unusual paperweight, I saw no harm in sending it away. I received a call not long thereafter to inform me there was no problem with the BIOS, no viruses, no corrupt hard drive. Simply, the cable connecting the monitor to the motherboard had come undone. Now, for context, the only time this laptop has ever been opened, was by this shop. I had also ruled out the monitor as the initial issue by connecting to an external display. So unless the cable went on strike, I can only assume this disconnection occurred while with this shop. Whether it was accidental and a product of neglect, or a sign of shoddy workmanship is not something I can say. What I can say, however, since the knowhow team epaired\ my broken laptop, is that this disconnected cable cost me 60. Of course, had User2 Computers managed to fix the problem, I can imagine that the cost would be similar, and 60 is far less than the cost of a new laptop. Had the shop still diagnosed my laptop with dead, but made sure to connect all cables, then there would be no issue. My flashing of the BIOS would have been the end of the story (and maybe a two star review instead of one). In summary: I cannot recommend User2 Computers, nor comprehend how they have such high reviews. Let alone any kind of which recommendation. The staff are very friendly. Attached is a picture of me typing this review on my undead laptop.

I do not think I would buy a computer from any 'Main Retailer' now after having sourced a new ThinkPad from USER2. The communications and responsiveness, despite my own hesitancy in committing to a purchase, was first class and I would highly recommend USER2. Phil Leng and the team were excellent - the new laptop is excellent the support from USER2 was excellent. Thanks guys and I look forward to staying in touch if required going forward. David Strachan
