I made a deal with the store owners. The negotiations of the deal had been going on for over a week. On Monday we came to an agreement and shook on it. They were buying the remaining 5 pieces of furniture from me today, Saturday. Saturday was the last day that I could be in my apartment, and I thought it was cutting a bit close, but i had their word. Because this deal was made I made no further arrangements for selling the stuff even though i had other offers (often better). I had made a deal, and I guess am one of the few people with integrity left in this world. Saturday came and I waited for them to call as they said they would. The call never came. I finally called them to see what time that they would be coming and they said “oh......we changed our mind. We are not taking your things”. I did not get not as much as a phone call from these people and Saturday it was the day that I had to turn in my keys. Now I have 5 pieces of furniture and literally nowhere for it to go without me being charged extra rent for the month. Long story short please do not trust the people at the “The Used Furniture Store” located at 120 North Main Ave in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Please don’t trust these people!

Always had great results in shopping here have done so many times. Great prices quality merchandise I recommend them highly owners very nice very helpful.
I took a long drive to see the stuff they have posted on Facebook. When I got there they hardly have anything they need to delete what they don't have I actually thought it was the warehouse. It look like it was full of stuff it was just a little broken down storefront a couple pieces of furniture
Over priced for a town like this.. want furniture and antiques cheap. Mansfield is the place.
