Quarantine, early in the morning. There was no one at the entrance but me.

The best embassy in Ukraine USA is number 1
I am a citizen and it was horrible. Besides the wait, even though I was a half hour early, and the bureaucratic red tape, they were also nosey and violated my civil rights. If in the USA I would file a lawsuit, but it's Ukraine.
Very friendly and supportive staff even throughout the pandemic.
Business done quickly.
Loved how they interview and treat you. Great job!
Professional, efficient, and always accommodating, American Citizen Services at the Embassy is consistent and excellent. That's no small trick during this current Covid crisis. If there's any criticism to be offered, it's that it's not located in the most accessible part of Kyiv. Still, a 20-minute taxi ride is a small price to pay for a facility, personnel, and service this dependable. For all the reasons listed above, the U.S. Embassy does the nation proud--never a bad thing.
once inside the passport renewal was pretty quick... Odd, but there are no special considerations for US Citizens vs Ukraine Nationals.. I had an appt but made to wait outside with everyone else on a heavy snow day. I waited for an hour ... so dont show up early
