Beautiful, serene retreat with lush gardens bursting with vibrant life - blooming flowers, fruit trees, hummingbirds. Guest rooms are spacious and lovely. Many outbuildings that provided appealing, calming spaces to read, meditate, practice yoga... Myriad outdoor gardens with winding paths leading to nooks and crannies in which one could spend quiet, blissful moments...or hours. Lovely walks - or longer hikes - are literally at the doorstep. Nestled in the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains, Willka Tika is a magical place. Stayed ten days - wish I could have stayed longer!

Willka T'ika is the perfect retreat spot: it provides peace, serenity, relaxation, beauty, great food. I attended as part of a yoga retreat and was so impressed with the facilities and the attention given to each and every guest. I can't emphasize enough how incredible the staff at this place is. They truly went above and beyond to deliver a 5 star experience. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a yoga retreat or someone just looking for a serene place to stay at while visiting the Sacred Valley. It won't disappoint.
The hotel is so beautiful, the gardens, the rooms, the common areas. It is impeccable, the staff is friendly and always there to help you. They have all their protocols which make you feel save and calm. The food is super fresh and yummy! I spend the weekend there with my husband and daughter (7months) and we had such a lovely time! Enjoying the peaceful gardens, fresh food, calm environment and different treatments. We came back home feeling renewed! Thank you Willka Tika!
Our group originally came to restore ourselves - mind, body and soul - and that we did 10 times over. We were met by kind-hearted staff who went above and beyond to take care of us. They fed us the most wonderful and delicious meals with many foods fresh from their garden. They baked us a beautiful cake covered in flowers for our birthdays. They served us fresh herbs for our teas and local coffee in the mornings. We always had access to filtered water. The managers and staff of this lovely Sacred Valley resort selflessly stepped in to take care of us and keep us safe during the quarantine. I will forever be grateful and I will definitely be back! This trip was truly magical.
Entering the grounds of Willka T'ika is like entering an assidiously cared for UNESCO botanical gardens. In addition to the unending variety of flora, honeybees dilegently gather pollen and a multitude of hummingbirds gorge themselves on nectar. Tucked away in the lushness are peaceful glades, artfully designed, perfect for meditation, yoga, writing...or any kind of contemplation. The rooms are well laid-out (both the deluxe and standard) with large bathrooms and excellent water pressure. The facility offers so much: two beautiful yoga studies with all props available (one room is immense), a small library, a music room, the dining hall with a lounge/bar area and fireplace. Willka T'ika was so clearly built with great love and intention and these vibrations are all around.
Our stay at Willka T’ika was amazing. It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in Peru. We spent a few nights here, roaming around the gardens during the day. We can’t believe the customer service and the care they put into this place. They have stayed open during the pandemic and it’s an incredible place to get away from it all during this time. My favorite place I've been in Peru! I would have never imagined the Chakra flower garden to have exceeded my expectations. So much grander than I would have ever imagined. I wish I could bottle the smell of thr whole garden but good thing they thought of that & make essential oils right from their garden. I received a free essential oil as a gift from the owners who were very hospitable & wonderful. The food was so fresh & delicious. The solar baths were an amazing experience with fresh herbs/flowers & I am so glad I did it. The massage & facials by Gaby were absolutely incredible. Not only did she have good knowledge of the body & great technique, but was also open to listening to what I needed & trying some new techniques. Truly a gem & I can tell she will continue to learn more to give more to her clients. I will definitely make a retreat here & do the solar baths/spa treatments again very soon. Also the first place I stood that had heat. I stood in other places in Pisac & Cusco which unfortunately did not. So during the mornings & nights were freezing inside, so finding this amazing place was just what I needed. Only place I found in Peru & even after in Bolivia, couldn't find any good spa treatments. By far the best I've had in South America & also went to multiple parts of Colombia & went to Panama as well but some years back. I don't think any review or words could sum up how great it is. I feel the only way to understand how spectacular it is, is to experience it in person. Thank you so much!! I can't wait to return to Wilka Tika again ASAP!
Willka T'ika was a wonderful experience. My first time in the Sacred Valley area in Peru late last year and was very impressed with the resort and local community. My first impression was the wonderful smell of eucalyptus that dominates the mountain air. My second impression was the warm and personal reception upon checking in, with staff showing me around the premises, so many little gardens and walkways each with a unique design and character. My last impression was of some sadness in having to leave after only one week. I so enjoyed the gardens, wonderful programs and massage available on site. The food was absolutely delicious and varied from day to day to my delight. And at night, really appreciated the warm water bottle placed in the bed to take the chill away from those crisp mountain nights :) Definitely returning !
