Stunning spot with plenty of parking. Time your visit April / May and this part of the forest is blanketed in English Bluebells. Access the woods from here and head south which will take you to a stream which you can walk and meander along side. Any time of year it’s lovely to do so. Your nestled in a valley here and with plenty of tree cover, in a chilly windy day, it’s a very pleasant wall. Car parking charge is the only downside. Meters won’t allow card so you will need change. If you plan to visit for a few hours, take a lot of change. It’s quite pricey.

We love this place. Beautiful woodland treasure to be found amongst the trees as well as a good place to have a picnic. Winnie the Pooh would approve
A beautiful spot. We went specifically to see the blue bells. There were thousands of them, as you looked into the distance, it was Like looking at a purple blue haze Above a sea of green. You could hear bird song, dogs barking in the distance. It would be a great place for a photographers. As ever you have to pay to see our own country side.
Upperford copse is a carpark/picnic area with woodland walks. Usually has plenty of parking available however weekends seem to be busier especially Sunday afternoon. Lots of dog walkers and friendly people. No litter bins in carpark/picnic area so you have to take your rubbish home to dispose of
