Went in for the first time for dinner and was served right away with refillable decaffeinated hot tea. The owner was really nice and explained us the menu in details. The food was good quality and tasty. My favourite was the salmon sashimi and green tea ice cream! Really recommend this place and I will definitely come back again when I am back in the area.

First of all, I want to mention that this is a well overdue review. Ever since I’ve discovered this place about a year ago, my partner and I have been here more than a dozen times, because it’s so good that we just can’t get enough of their dishes. We have tried both the lunch and dinner menus and some of our personal favorites include the Salmon Don and Ginger Pork from the lunch menu and the sashimi and mini-don selection from the dinner menu. The roasted tea that is served throughout the meal is a great addition, whether hot and cold. The quality of ingredients as well as that of the combination of flavours is second to none. Top-tier quality. On top of that, as a family-run business they have always been very attentive and thus I only have words of praise to offer for the service as well. Must try at least once. You won’t be disappointed.

Cute hidden gem. Excellent service. Yummy and delicious food. Tiny restaurant, transplanted from Japan. Sweet and friendly husband and wife team. Everything is freshly prepared and home made. Feels safe to eat there and they take Covid precautions seriously. We love the sashimi, homemade dumplings, fried chicken, tofu and omelette. Genuine, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and personal attentive service. Do book ahead. Highly recommend.

Amazing little cosy izakaya (Japanese bar) in the Docklands area run by a very friendly husband and wife team. We have been a few times for dinner - and have tried (almost) all the small dishes they have on their menu. All very good and authentic - reminds me of the izakayas in Japan! They also have seasonal specials on the board. My favourites are the fried oysters and monkfish liver. It is quite hidden away but definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the area (though at the moment, it's best to call to make a reservation).
