As a first gen college student, I needed an affordable close location to campus. University Pointe absolutely fulfilled that need and more. The basketball court and volleyball courts are almost always available. There is some beautiful locations. I fully believe that pricing, location , and amenities make UP a steal.

One of the best properties for students studying at ASU campus. Best location, easy accessibility and courteous staff.

Samantha in the leasing office was AMAZING! She made our leasing and move in process so easy! She went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and to answer all of our questions within minutes.

Samantha was great to work with! Very helpful getting lease set up and available to answer all our questions. First month has been great in the apartment.

I would caution anybody considering renting from UP to read the 1-2 star reviews and take them seriously. I've lived at UP for the last year and won't be returning. If you're a student, it's nice to live so close to ASU's campus, but that's one of the only upsides. As far as downsides... the list goes on and on. The property itself is dirty and unkept; piles of leaves and branches all over the place making it seem like nobody maintains the grounds. The stairway up to my second floor unit had a tree next to it that you had to dodge every time you walked past it. Inside my unit, there was absolutely no feeling of safety. The door could have been kicked in easily by any homeless person on the property. Not to mention, no locks on the windows so I had to place a wooden block in the runner. Maintenance was no help for either of these issues. Also, probably the biggest problem in my opinion, is the bugs. When I moved in, I had to sweep dead bugs out of the cabinets. If you don't keep your unit absolutely spotless, you're bound to have at least 5-6 bugs running around. The office provides free bug spraying, but this leaves you with the same amount of bugs in the apartment, just dead instead of alive. The bugs can be anywhere from small ones, the size of your pinky nail, all the way to full on roaches. I found them in my living room, bathroom, kitchen, everywhere. I did not feel safe or clean living here, ever. UP is priced comparably to many nicer units on Apache. With no laundry in the unit, flimsy doors, thin walls, bugs, and a poor exterior, UP is not worth what you pay for it. It doesn't make me happy to write such a poor review, I just hope it will help somebody considering living here if any of these are deal breakers.
