I visit a lot of universities but this place is right up there with the very best. Student run and very welcoming even for a distance learner on a visit. Great bar with good food at decent prices. Lovely atmosphere and what an environment to be located in! Wow! As a post grad I can't think of another student union that surpasses this one

Good student atmosphere, right near the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, a Spar inside plus student bar
Great value menu and great buzz as a student meeting place.
It would have been 5 stars, had there been facility to buy a coffee.
