Me and my friend incurred the biggest discrimination of our lives. We wanted to enter and the security guard said that the club is full. However, immediately behind us over 5 people were allowed to enter. When we asked why these people were allowed to enter the security guard answered that the club is full. Some of the guests were kind enough to explain that you have to be a “regular” customer to enter. This was completely unfair as we waited patiently for 30min without any warning. Don’t go there people! Enjoy yourselves somewhere else!!!!!
The worst bar ever in Lyon. Is tiny, warm and busy. The security guy is really rude and the waitress too. Don't go there if you want to have a good night
The bouncer is really disrespectful and will deny access to people for very questionable reasons (and as you can see in all the comments, there are old complains about it and nothing was done, therefore, the owner(s) agree/are complacent with their behavior). I wouldn't recommend the house. go somewhere else.
We had an amazing time, we have to go back. Highly recommended.
United Cafe practices discrimination at the door which is disgusting in 2019, but apparently acceptable in 2019 suburban France. I saw the bouncer be as rude as can be. This is only the prelude to poor service inside, bad drinks, and bored patrons.
Based on the reviews I had read, I expected to be treated like garbage by security, and it was true, but I'm ok with that. However, the place is smaller than my living room, the staff (coat check and bar) is just not nice at all, and even packed, there's not much ambiance. Also, I was served alcohol that was already poured in a glass somehow, before I had ordered. Sketchy all around. Save yourself the trip.
I know it’s a gay club, but come on- those drinks were absolutely disgusting. And it gets really crowded, but the music is nice, you can catch nice gay selection sometimes.
