I am extremely happy with the professional service and advise I received from Peter at Unistart. My alternator had packed up and I had looked online for a replacement but found the prices to be extremely expensive for my Porsche (500 - 800). I have had alternators repaired before on previous cars so looked online and found Unistart. I contact them late Saturday afternoon and was told to bring it down the same day so he could see it. I dropped it off and we agreed for him to recondition my alternator. After opening up the alternator Peter found it was completely burnt out. The coil was black and the electrical components had melted. He sent me pictures of the damage and said he could replace all the required parts but for the price he suggested I would he better off replacing it. He checked his suppliers and was able to find me a brand new alternator for less than half the price of any of the ones I found online and it was made by Bosch ! He had it ordered in and I picked it up the next day. I would highly recommend Unistart to any and everyone. In this day and age it rare to find a business where they put service before profit. I managed to save hundreds of pounds using them and also learnt a lot about how an alternator works. Thank you Peter

I highly recommend \Unistart\ Great costumer service and very helpful, very professional and quick turnaround in my case same day repair. Had my car stoped for 3 weeks because I couldn't find a new Alternator to replace my damaged one. From a Phone call away to a 1h repair to a running car again.
Brilliant service. Took my 40 year old faulty alternator to see if it could be repaired and it was fixed in half an hour for 60 quid which was fantastic. Got home, refitted it and it works perfectly!! Really friendly and helpful service. Would highly recommend.

A great experience with Peter from Unistart once again. His knowledge and speed are second to none. He managed to find an alternator which stopped being produce within an hour and it was delivered the next day all for a very competitive price. The parts that needed to be changed from the old to the new were done so in his workshop saving time and a headache at the boat. Would highly recommend (for a second time, the first he full serviced and repaired my starter motor which had shorted). Thanks
