Uncle Tony's Taverna

This is easily the best restaurant in North London which offers authentic Greek cuisine. I visited with my parents for the first time recently and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and how attentive the staff were. The menu is varied and accompanied with a fairly extensive wine list. Staff took the time to talk us through the Chef's Specials for the day and both dishes which we ordered from it were delicious. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Thought we would try the new Greek restaurant. So glad we did. Was greeted by friendly staff who asked if we had any allergies. Once we sat down and ordered they actually said we think you may have ordered too much food. How honest can you be!!!!. Once the food came it really was delicious. If I was sitting outside I would have thought I was actually eating in Cyprus. Cant wait to go back and try more dishes. If you really fancy something nice go for the Lamb Souvla but make sure you call ahead and ask them to save you some

Uncle Tony’s is without doubt the best Greek takeaway I’m North London. I don’t make this statement lightly. The kebabs are outstanding and they use the best ingredients and do not scrimp on quality. Their Greek food is outstanding. I ordered a moussaka and kletharaki and lamb and it was so tasty it was nearly as good as my mums.

Great service, outstanding food and super clean. Very impressed with this place. As a Greek Cypriot who eats Greek food regularly I’d like to think that I’m a good judge of Greek restaurants and this is by far one of my favourites. Highly recommend it and worth travelling to even if you’re not a local. They’re not close to where I live but I go there as often as I can. Keep up the good work!!

Super tasty food and great main portions. Would definitely come back again. Delicious!! The gyros, chicken souvlaki, and the swordfish souvlaki are my favorite in addition to the mouth watering charred octopus!!!
