Very nice in terms of atmosphere, food and hospitality, but a bit pricy.

Location is slightly challenging. A small route in, but charmingly decorated. Step in and the pretty ladies will get you to place your shoes in a locker and to your seat. They only do 1 thing, and it is unagi. Slight smoky char taste that adds to how delicious it is. Priced about 5000 plus plus for the set. Worth it.
with lots of rice, yet very tasty
This place does one thing only: grilled eel (unagi). And they do it very well indeed. The restaurant has a cosy traditional style. Shoes stay outside. Downstairs is a dining room with tables. Upstairs are two more rooms offering more traditional dining with low tables and floor seating. There are also a few toys for your little ones to play with (our 6 year-old wasn't at all bored while waitingfor the food to arrive!). The unagi was delicious, but it is not a cheap eat. Despite the simplicity of the offering the prices can be steep. A serving with 3 pieces of eel (comes with soup and pickles) will set you back 5700 yen per person. Of course sharing is an option :-).
Delicious!
