Had a great walk up hill, manageable for any age. Had few benches where to sit down and rest if you get tired. The view from top was wonderful, could see other hills and part of sea. The monument looks really nice.

The view from the top is amazing,Morecambe bay,Ulverston, and clear views all round the area. Little bit windy but lovely sunshine, and the monument never ceases to amaze me,the views from the top must be even more spectacular. If you are in Cumbria, well worth the climb, you won't regret it

Brilliant short walk but be warned, it is a very steep hill to the top. We parked on Hoad Lane, very small street but we got up in a range rover with the parked cars there too.

Nice walk, a bit steep in some areas but great views. A good place for a few hours relaxed walk. If it's raining, don't use an umbrella. Oh and theres no toilet at the top though so go before you set off.

Had a nice day if a bit cloudy so walked through Ulverston and up the Hoad to see the monument. Only takes 20-30 min to get up and is a little steep in places. Path is worn badly in places so watch your step. Fab view from the top and well with a visit
