Large National Trust site which is pretty buggy friendly. There are also wooded and muddy parts. My son's favourite aspect were the ducks. They were super friendly!

The gardens were absolutely lovely as always. I was a little surprised by their \cafe\. The quality of the food and drinks we purchased fell very far below their usual standard for the price they charged. 12.50 for two very watery hot chocolates and 2 cold sausage rolls. We will return but will not be buying stuff from the \cafe

Beautiful Park even in the winter! We went for a walk and there was so much to see! Definitely worth bringing wellies or shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

We were lucky. Beautiful autumnal colours and a clear blue sky. The lakes were like mirrors. A tranquil space.
