Meh. Average shopping experience here at ikat batik. Don’t really understand what the fuss is about tbh. Limited variations of home furnishings found here. The usual tapestry wall decor, table/ bed runners, cups and saucers etc As well as overpriced women’s jewellery, scarves and a leather belt. Purchased a couple of earrings for the sake of it and spent over Rp1,500,000. Sales woman insisted embellishing made of bone. I’m thinking plastic.

This shop is a must for anyone interested in fabric, textiles and art. There is so much for the eyes to feast on with beautiful indigo coloured designs. I wanted everything in the store. These are quality products that will enliven you home.

Bring a fan. It's quite hot inside. Be sure to walk all the way in and up the stairs! Lovely blue coloured batik/fabrics.
