I ordered takeaway dinner for my wife and me and we were pleasantly surprised, which does not happen very often. Curries were truly excellent, portions large, I highly recommend the place. Many reviews deducted stars for the decor - yes, the place looks a bit tired - but in my eyes the food more than makes up for it.

Quite a rude welcome when visiting. Manners cost nothing *response to question below. I waited by the door for some time with no welcome from the man behind reception. Two of us stood there. I said hello, are we able to get any food? He responded abruptly, \how many?\ To which I responded \two of possible\ The response without even looking at me, shaking his head was o\ He didn't even look at me, or say no sorry were too busy. We'd have been happy taking a takeaway as it was 8pm and we'd have found somewhere to eat on the beach front. Given that my sister had food poisoning the week before, he might have done me a favour. But I wasn't even given the choice.
Never had a bad take away. Friendly staff.
THE best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had, fresh ingredients, all so delicious, the cod special reminded us of something from a beach restaurant in Kerala or Goa on our travels, the rice with chickpeas and egg was a great alternative to pulau and the balti chicken tikka bhuna so succulent, well spiced and not at all heavy. Thanks for a perfect meal!
