I have read some of the negative reviews and I have never myself had such a hard time with DPD (Excluding the incident today). I called up DPD support after they could not find my address (I cannot blame DPD for this, because POST NL, DHL, every delivery company screws it up) and asked them to have it delivered at the local DPD point, I bike there and get told by the purrson there they are not a DPD point for the time being because of Corona and DPD should know this. He tells me to call them again and bike to Tynaarlo and I end up doing so, people there promise me they'll deliver the package first thing in the morning and note down my phone number just in case. Bit annoyed because you know, I biked from Zuidlaren and I kind of wanted the package then and there. One of the people asks me how big it is, I tell them purrty big. They end up looking after all and find it, no complaints from me here. Thank you guys so much. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 because DPD did screw up, however people please keep in mind this is just one of their centers. I am seeing so many negative reviews because of DPD screwing up but not DPD center Tynaarlo purrsay, as such I am giving the full 5 because they had nothing to do with the screwup DPD's customer service made.

Slow, unreliable, just don't send parcels with DPD.
I sent myself a package from my grandmother's house, and paid a lot for the delivery. They didn't come to collect it on the appointed day after setting a time and sending a notification. It took them almost a week to come pick it up from Tynaarlo to Roden, even though they let me pick the date. I picked it, and they notified me the same day that they were coming, and set a time frame, then did not come, did not notify me, did not leave a paper in the mailbox. My grandmother had to call them several times, since I was travelling back home and couldn't call. I packed a few fragile items, but I packed it in such a way they'd have to beat my package or let it fall from a great height to break anything. They broke something that was extremely difficult to break, smashed all the items on the top (that were well wrapped, to prevent breaking, although they were not fragile), and basically messed up half of the package. Then they refused to bring it to my house, on the grounds that it was visibly damaged, open and stained (it was not open when they gave it to us, but it was taped with a different tape over the original, so maybe they peeled it off and was retaped afterwards. It was not as damaged on the outside as they claimed, and they said they were trying to get a refund, but then we wouldn't get our package). We had to call customer service before sending and before we got it, and spent a lot of money and time in those calls. We were eventually sent to pick it up from a warehouse, instead of getting it delivered. Never working with them again, it was the most stressful thing ever.
Echt waardeloos. Sorry hoor. Als bezorgd doorgeven en niets ontvangen. Geen bezorgd bij buren bericht. Ik wil in vervolg weten of DPD bezorgt want dan annuleer ik bestellingen.
24/7/20 Goed te volgen nog 2 stops pakje 05118975820044 is er,maar het komt niet in mijn straat ,en dan jammer dat u NIET THUIS was e nu mag ik het ophalen ben 80 jaar BEDANKT DPD en chauffeur 27/7 pakje 4km lopen opgehaald DPD nooit meer ... punt
Het meest waardeloze bedrijf dat ik heb meegemaakt!!! Ik bestel NOOIT weer als dit bedrijf erbij staat als bezorger! 4 maal nu iets besteld en 4 maal NIET geleverd maar wel als geleverd vermeld in het scherm!! Contact met de klantenservice heeft vervolgens geen enkele zin!! Staan zogenaamd los van de bezorging en kunnen enkel een mail sturen maar ze weten niet of er gereageerd word. WAAR-DE-LOOS !! Wederom geen pakket gekregen en moet ik er weer op wachten en erachteraan.
Waardeloos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leugens, en loze beloftes!!
