TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Employees do not seem to be good at customer service. I patiently waited outside for about 20 minutes and then knocked on the door and politely asked the employee (white, blue eyed, male, about 5’6”) who answered the door, “Hello, is there any way that I can make an appointment online to enter the store?” The employee was extremely short and rude and quickly exclaimed, “Nope! You need to wait in line just like everyone else,” as he tried to shut the door in my face. I wasn’t finished talking so I calmly and politely asked, “Okay well do you know about how much longer the wait will be because I’ve been standing out here for about 20 minutes (in the cold).” To which he angrily responded, “I don’t know. Do you wanna come in here and tell these people to hurry up with their paperwork?” (Referring to the customers inside.) To which I responded, “I never suggested that I wanted to do that, why do you have such a bad attitude with me?” To which he responded, “It’s not just you, everyone today has been knocking on the door after we ask them to wait out here.” Maybe a better system or more organization is necessary but don’t take it out on the customers.

Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. Prices are suitable from beginners to collectors. Will be a regular from now on.

I had past tense, a very large collection of rifles shotguns and handguns as well. Unfortunately I had an order of protection when I went through a divorce. I was supposed to surrender my firearms to the police but I didn't feel it was necessary because everything was kept in a safe. Unfortunately one day somebody asked me a question and I replied what's something that apparently made them nervous. Within 15 minutes I had approximately 5 officers banging on my door. Long story short they removed my entire collection explain to me that I have to wait for my order of protection to expire. However I was never given a receipt or the location where my collection was being held. Unfortunately I basically gave up on it. I've recently moved into this neighborhood and I am going to frequent this shop unfortunately it appears that the price of firearms have gone through the roof. Rifles that I paid 129 for and now going for 300 shame that I have to spend that money all over again unfortunately now the prices are now triple.

I took my HQL training class from Tyler Firearms recently. The instructor was Andy and he was terrific! As he taught, he provided many real life examples which was extremely helpful. I would most definitely recommend Tyler Firearms for anyone looking to purchase and/or receiving training.

Called and ended up working with Eric. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Low pressure atmosphere was helpful since I have little knowledge of firearms. Got me setup with a couple of reasonably priced shotguns for home defense purposes. Will definitely purchase from them again...hopefully they’ll have more selection in stock. Slim picking these days.
