Great trip canoeing over the aquaduct with our friends and 21 month old daughter. Professional fun guide and great with kids!!! Though we all found Andy hilarious too... Fantastic guide, we would highly recommend.

My partner and I booked the Pontcysyllte aqueduct canoe tour (3 hours) and it was a perfect introduction to canoeing. We have never really canoed before but we didn't want it to end and could easily have done a whole day. Andy was great. He was really informative, gave loads of hints and tips and had lots of patience! I would recommend the company to anyone. Lots of adjustments have been made due to COVID-19 and we felt safe the whole time (both on the water and also hygiene wise). We are already looking at when we can come back and do it all again. Going over the aqueduct was exciting and scenic, but going along the canal was just as pretty. Thank you Andy!
Right from the booking stage, communication was fantastic. We booked the 3 hour canoeing session. Our instructor was called Jon and he was very helpful, calm and informative. We took our 7 year old, who found it fun but the rain constant rain and cold had started to ‘wear thin’ for him. (Not that that is Ty Nants fault ) We would definitely choose Ty Nants for another outdoor adventure.
We went on the half day aquaduct canoe tour, and it was really excellent. Our party was me and my two sons, aged 13 and 9. Andy was a brilliant instructor, and he really put my nine year old at ease, as he knew that he had been nervous beforehand. My son was so proud of himself for the achievement. Andy showed him that he had confidence in him, and this really gave my son confidence in himself. I can't recommend this enough, it was a real highlight of our stay in Wales.
Had a brilliant canoe trip with Chris. Very patient with us as we got to grips with the basics and gave us different options to choose where we would like to go to tailor the trip to us. Thanks for a great day!
