I had two doors stripped by Jack and his team. Absolutely brilliant, many layers of paint and varnish taken off. 80 year old doors look almost new. Well done. Thank-you.
Always a good job by friendly and professional staff. Helpful advice and some excellent results. Lots of useful reclamation items on the site too. A little inaccessible but they will always help you carry items in. Not particularly cheap but that's probably just Twickenham prices for you (rent etc).
I was looking for some local entertainment for one of my regular dinner parties and decided to book. I must admit at this stage the misunderstanding was entirely on my part. On the phone I was asked what sort of work was involved and told they mainly do wall and door jobs. I agreed, assuming (wrongly as it turned out) this was some sort of prop used during the routine. Anyway. As the evening unfolded and said entertainer arrived, I ushered them into the drawing room where my distinguished guests were sat in various states of undress (all very top shelf people, you need a certain calibre of attendee at these suburban soirée’s. I tried one in Fulham a few weeks ago and not going into details it was a disaster. No regard for ground rules (giving comments and so called advice is not welcome during) there was even a dog tied up in the hall which would not stop barking). Back to the night in question. It very quickly became apparent that the gentleman was not that sort of entertainer, but was actually there to strip wallpaper and varnish. I did think their costume was very detailed. Even down to the varnish shavings and smell. After establishing this and many apologies later I actually realised I did have an old chest of drawers in the guest suite that needed some attention. Once he was done here he handed out some business cards and made his way home as the ‘festivities’ continued. I must say, despite the unfortunate misunderstanding the work was of a very high quality and both my guests and I will be engaging in their services in future. Highly recommend. Plus I’m told their discretion is guaranteed.
