We found the offering from Ward Mackenzie to be pretty poor overall, for example our first year we had to ask for about an allowance for home office to be included. We left after we became aware that charged me for filing a tax return but didn't actually file, they input the incorrect address for me on the tax office system so that when the penalty arrived it went to the wrong address, luckily a neighbour received the letter and knew me. After a lot of chasing and a lot of phone calls, someone at Ward Mackenzie condescended to resolve the situation. The tax office later wrote to me to explain what had happened. We moved to another accounting firm who are efficient, proactive, approachable and cheaper, the difference is like night and day.
