Absolutely stunning local place for a walk in any weather ️️ Parkland trail is well marked to follow and lots of amazing spots to admire the historic parkland.

Fantastic property, just a shame the buildings are closed, some of the paths through the gardens are also closed. But very pretty and a great walk through historic ruins, past a lovely boat house, and around the moat. There's also a walled garden with plant and vegetable patches and some installations. Particularly lovely to visit in autumn with tree leaves a myriad of reds and oranges.

Stunning castle and castle ruins with a moat- so very picturesque, beautiful scenery, parkland and woodlands with plenty of walks and trails. Be sure to bring walking boots or wellys as the trails are extremely muddy at the moment. It's only an hour from London by car which is really great and definitely worth your while if you want to get out of the city fir a bit. There is a tea room for hot drinks and toilet facilities available.

Beautiful peaceful place. Very well organised one way walk system during covid. Great facilities - ice cream huts, shop, coffee shop and huge amount of lovely outdoor seating - some even with parasols. Toilets spotless and 'covid equipped'. Great experience, lovely walks. Only outdoor places are open but well worth the visit. Place matches previous good review I read before visiting.

Had a lovely couple of hours here. What a joy. Peaceful and it looks as if the gardeners have been busy, all the borders were in order and there was lots of late summer colour. I recommend visiting. Beautiful, definitely will be returning.
