Very poor customer service that they have working there . I called in regards to being helped. Since I wasn’t sure which extension I needed . So I just pushed “0” to talk to someone. The lady on the line was no help, she was getting loud and I could tell she was getting annoyed. Mid way of me talking to her, she just transfers me to the main call list . Which I had already listened to . The whole reason I wanted to talk to a person was so they can direct me to the correct dept. They need to hire someone who isn’t rude to customers and enjoys their job or at least act like it and not get stressed out when being asked questions for help.

As a citizen, I’d like to use my first amendment rights to express my concern on how Commissioner Kortokrax treated me. I was scolded based on events the Judge Kortokrax both misunderstood and misheard. I respect that it’s his court and there is an order to adhere to, but many fallacious statements were made about me by another party, which I did not feel like I need to address beyond it being untrue. I felt I should only stick to the most pressing situation and what the hearing was about, in respect to the Commissioner and the court’s time; yet sat there while I was slandered for upwards of 30 minutes. I am thankful that the law couldn’t be interpreted any other way, because Commissioner Kortokrax felt the need to express his displeasure with me and judge my character when I spoke for less than 5 minutes and was not disruptive, nor did I go on any tangents while it was my turn. I don’t think his behavior was necessary or appropriate, but hey that’s just me. God bless, so thankful to not be living in that area anymore.

Lack of signage makes it difficult to find on the road. Small courthouse that looks rather unfriendly on the outside, especially with the razor wire around the juvenile prison section. The inside courtroom area is nice, however. And the staff are pleasant.

People get angry when things don't go their way. They give this courthouse a bad rating out of anger. This courthouse is very efficient. They do not take sides. They have laws they must follow. Do not say bad things, because they are doing their jobs. If you have decent counsel, chances are you can take care of your issue.

I agree with what the first guy said. I spent a lot of time there from the time I was 13-17. I just made bad decisions, I will admit that. Being a normal person with a normal mental capacity it was extremely eye opening to me. most of the kids there have severe mental issues. Many of these kids problems come from bad parenting and most of them lived in group homes and had been abused and molested. These group homes are so bad I couldn't even keep count of how many kids broke the law on purpose in order to get locked up because it was better in there than being raped in a group home by not only the guardians, but also the other children there. This place does not help these kids at all. Depending on the guard on shift, the most time you were out of your cell a day was maybe an hour. 23 hours locked down in a room by yourself with tp, mattress, blanket, pillow, and a book. Fortunately I was able to go to counseling and get help for the problems I had that were created by being in there, but most of these kids will not. I have seen them as young as 8 years old and all this place does is get them on the fast track to being institutionalized and spending the majority of their life incarcerated. These guard don't help and they don't understand. I dreamed of being a guard there, knowing what I know now, and helping the best I could these children. But because of my record I will never be able to do anything that rewarding. This place is worse than hell. Think back to when you were a kid, how different time perception was. Remember the week leading up to Christmas? That week felt like months when you are a kid. Now imagine spending months and months locked in a tiny room by yourself for 23-23 and a half hours a day. How anyone can do this to children who need help is beyond me. As soon as a child is put there, you may as well write them off and forget about them.................
