Have visited Tulsi and few times now with various people and we have never had a bad meal here. The menu is modern and exciting but doesn't exclude more traditional dishes either. The dishes are fresh and the flavours are well balanced with spice. The mixed grill is excellent and ideal as a sharer among a couple of people. Service is friendly and the decor is clean and modern.

Tulsi is a hospitable, friendly, and well-designed Indian restaurant in the heart of Purley. The cuisine is diverse, and the staff are great! They hosted a wonderful FSB event in 2019 too!
One of the best indian restaurant around. The chef is amazing and the staff also. Nice catering and the food is the end of the word. Soo good and delicious. Its 10/10. Eating here is like a drug as you would mostly like to go there everyday.
Worst food I had in a long long time. We took a takeaway as we heard great things about this place, and it was a very bad experience. The main course was just full of chilli. It wasnt flavourful spices, it was just full of red paprika! If you care about your stomach, avoid this place. It is named tulsi, but from the taste of it, it should be named red chilli. Just in case you think the food was just 'Indian Spicy', I am a South Indian myself and accustomed to very spicy food, but this was something else. It was the kinda spicy where the chef's tries to douse all other flavours in the food by overdosing with chilli.
