Called me before 7am I told them to call during business hours and they said they start at 6:30am. Common sense should tell you not to call before at least 8am people!

was working with a certain employee on a case that had to do with a previous employer owing me some sick pay when I worked for them..well i get paperwork basically stating everything went well, employer is paying the hours I should have gotten, employer is now a in compliance and the matter/case is closed. So the employer sent the money to L&I, they send me a letter stating i can pick it up or sign a release and they can mail it to me (certified mail of course) and this was a couple weeks ago, from Tukwila to Sumner...stilll waiting...anyone think Im going to get this check? im not. i will change if I see this, but im really skeptical. and havent heard any updates like mail was returned, etc.....
I spoke with a risk management consultant today. This is a remarkable service offered by WA LnI. The only place in the country where you can get consulting around your costs and risks for free. Just fill out an online form. I was initially called back by Dave Leby (Phonetic spelling) . He thought he could hook me up with someone who could more specifically help me. 15 minutes later, I was contacted by Geoff Schmid. He was super helpful and informative. Wonderful interoffice communication on their part I would say. I encourage business owners to take advantage of what they offer for compliance. Such a relief they want to help people do things right and not wait until they can punish for doing it wrong.
Really kind and helpful staff, friendly, went above and beyond.

The lady at the desk was very helpful and cordial. She saved me by letting me know that you can turn in an affidavit of experience for for free when you renew your trainee card.
