Overall this place is pretty good. It was super busy when I went at the beginning of dinner hour. We got our food to-go, the staff was friendly enough. The portions are HUGE! Deff a great value, the was enough leftovers for 2 more meals. The food was flavorful, but a touch greasy. I got the impression everything was made in a hurry. I'm no expert on east African cuisine, but the flavors seemed authentic. I would like to go back, maybe on a slow weekday post-pandemic.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants. Just be prepared for a somewhat informal conversation when you order by phone. I highly recommend having your order ready and being aware that they use the last 4 digits of your phone number for pickup.

I came in over the weekend to order Baris Hilib Ari(goat meat rice) to go since I missed eating this dish. Fast and good service as always. It's great to see all the guys wearing their masks and keeping safe. God bless and thank you!

*Open for to-go Jan. 2021* We tried the Goat Combo and Chicken Suqaar. If you like the unique flavor (some call it gamey) of goat, this is a great choice. The combo came with collard greens, pinto beans and lentils. The Chicken Suqaar looks more like a Chinese chicken stir-fry, but tasted like a combination of Indian and Chinese food (maybe cardamom or cinnamon?). We got both Ethiopian and Somali style Ingera (instead of rice or pasta). The Ethiopian Ingera was very sour, the sourest I've ever had.
