Absolutely first class food. Not eaten Thai food in over 20 years, the food here has made me a convert. Great service, atmosphere, food is cooked by the owners mother. Authentic and highly recommended

Take away tonight in lockdown 1 slow - ordered at 1800 to collect at 1930 (not great) arrived at 1930 and left that 2010 (not ideal) 2 waiter did not write down the order correctly and forgot rice and noodles 3 called owner and first tried to blame me and then blamed the fact they were busy......right at the end of the call they said sorry (not ideal) Had a chat with a couple of locals in the restaurant who insisted the food was fantastic even though you had to wait a long time for that sadly they have no idea what they were talking about - I suggest that those people visit York sometime soon Only Thai restaurant in Malton so I can’t say I won’t be going back because I might get desperate for a Thai food again Then again This has inspired me to invent a form of keeping a takeaway food hot hot for longer so I can go to York and get something much nicer
We ordered via phone at 5pm for a meal at 6.15pm knowing that they are usually late, but we had to wait until 6.45 until the meal for 4 was ready. This is unacceptable. We weren't offered an apology nor a complimentary drink whilst we waited another 30mins. This is the only Thai in Malton and feel they need to get timings sorted. The restaurant wasn't busy they only had 4 diners in. For a takeaway to take so long is disgraceful. The saving grace is the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Recommend the food not the very poor slow service.
