Vineyard City Church is a former Vineyard church at 3150 East Fort Lowell Road in the Winterhaven Square. In August, 2019, VCC merged with Elements City Church which is on North Alvernon Way. Blessedly, Connections Vineyard Church which had been leasing space at La Paloma Academy was able to assume VCC's lease and continues an active church in the building. CVC has service Sunday mornings. Service begins at 10:00 am and we are dismissed at 11:30 am. The CVC Pastors are Pastor Dave Petrash, Pastor Trina Petrash, Pastor Doug Garno and Pastor Rick Leis plus Worship Pastor Jim Crandall. Our Worship Team Leader is Brother Alan Voelkel, the son of Pastor Jack Voelkel and Pastor Mary Anne Voelkel, Associate Pastors of the former VCC. Our Lending Librarian is Sister Susan Garno, the wife of Pastor Doug Garno. When Vineyard City Church merged with Elements City Church, some of the congregation moved to Elements City Church or other local churches but a lot joined Connections Vineyard Church. My friends, Sister Anne Elizabeth Lillie and her husband Brother Kevin Lillie and Sister Megan Susanne Goodman and her husband Brother Josh Goodman chose to move to Elements City Church. I chose Connections Vineyard Church. I am glad that I did. I love the Vineyard service. I have gotten to know of Brother John Wimber who founded the Vineyard Church. Connections Vineyard Church 3150 East Fort Lowell Road on the Sun Tran #17 Country Club/29th Street bus and the Sun Tran #34 Fort Lowell/Craycroft bus.

Roachie's Vulnerability Vlog

Friendly welcoming church but some of the services were contradictory. One week was really uplifting and then we went back another time and it was pretty much contradicting most of what the other service said. Just not exactly like the vineyard churches I've gone to in my hometown back in Cincinnati. Gone to a couple of the small groups too, every body is really welcoming and loving. Just not as on fire or something as the vineyards I'm used to.

Some of the people truly shine Christs love but it is very clicky. Hard to get connected or serve in any capacity. I am in recovery and felt very judged. No outreach or social activities to draw hurting people in.

My husband and I have been part of VCC for 9 years now. It's a beautiful, welcoming community for people who feel like they don't fit into a traditional church - or don't want a traditional church! We've just added two new small groups (home groups) and more are coming -- great way to get connected and go deep. Come as you are - you'll be loved.

Great church to fellowship and worship in a small setting. Very personable. Messed up people who are made right by the grace of THE LOVING GOD.

Revisited 12-16-18 Friendly, but the church appears stalled. No church bulletin or powerpoint to let you know the scripture for the message. Limited opportunity to connect. Thought after getting a new pastor the church would change. However, this is not happening.
