Visited the takeaway last Sunday. My daughter has lots of allergies, including gluten and dairy to name a couple. Staff were super helpful, very reassuring and friendly. Gluten free fish and chips fried to perfection. What fryers these people are! Fish cooked perfectly, with wonderful batter that was light and crispy. Everything was well drained, and not swimming in oil. Highly recommended. Just go there!!

Allow your tummy, the food was great, lively tasty food, flexible food. even gluten free food!! great service. All the staff happy to help. nice place in such a quiet area. just needs a small menu to say they do Gluten free.
Yet another \chippy\ that can't be arsed to make their own chips. Deep fried oven chips and very watered down vinegar have no place in a proper chippy.

Brilliant visit - gluten free fish was delicious and they very kindly did me some gluten free scraps on the house! Definitely the superior fish and chip shop in Matlock Bath.
