It’s an onsen located close to asahi city on the way from tsuruoka city towards Yamagata city in the local 112 highway. Last entry is at 9pm and open til 9:30. The rest area has a lot of vending machines beer, soft drinks , ice cream. The drawback is that the onsen itself is very small L, it just has one large main indoor onsen pool, one very small cold water pool and one small sauna. It doesnot have outdoor onsen. The onsen area is bright with light color floor and is generally less crowded because it is located away from main city.
This was a nice place to stop on the way home from a ski trip. The price was great and the facilities were clean and tidy. I appreciated the refreshing water inside the locker rooms. It’s not very crowded and is spacious enough for a larger group to rest and wait in the lobby. The souvenir shop is also packed with goodies if you need to pick up something before heading home.
スノーシュー後の汗を流しに行きました。脱衣所のロッカーに衣類を入れる籠か入っている位大容量のロッカーです。籠を取り出し着替えやすい。 浴槽は洗い場が１０個くらいあります。洗い場のスペースが広いし荷物置き場もあるので広々です。ただ浴槽は１つだけ。大きくないです。サウナと水風呂はあります。お湯は茶色っぽくナトリウムが強いので傷にしみます。顔にはつけられませんでした。 お湯は疲れに効きます。そして人が少ないのがいいです。観光スパではなく、老人ホーム隣接の町の湯だからでしょうか。お年寄りが３人くらいしか入っておらず２個しかないドライヤーも問題なく使いまわせました。２時間以内にという制限がありますが浴槽が１個なので２時間あれば十分ではないかと思います。
水風呂広くてよろしいな、温泉も広いですよ️
