Beautiful. To see wide open spaces, huge trees, the Carrick Roads waterways and the sea...just wonderful. Well managed by the National Trust.

Absolutely beautiful! We did the circular woodland walk, which is about 4 miles. Great for dogs (although they have to be on lead). Beautiful walking by the river along to King Harry ferry then across the road (up a set of pretty steep steps and into a gorgeous canopy of trees. We live quite locally and this is our first visit! As NT members we'll go again. Cafe was open. Well set up for social distancing. Plenty of outside seating. Usual pricey NT food. Well worth a visit if you've never been.

Free to national trust members. The gardens and parkland are currently open. There is a wonderful walk around the parkland. The walk takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. It is approximately 3-4miles long. The walk takes you across a field, along the river, down onto the beach and through the trees. The views are beautiful and you can see all the way to Falmouth. The shop and cafe are currently open. Social distancing is maintained throughout with staff wearing masks. You are expected to wear masks in both. The cream tea is a good price and tastes great. The gardens are beautiful and will be even more impressive in the spring when the rhododendrons are in flower. Dogs are allowed in the parkland but not the gardens.

Always a beautiful place to visit near King Harry's ferry. You can also take a dip at the right time of day in the estuary which reminds me of childhood in warm calm seas. Lovely countryside with wonderful views. You can see out to the sailing boats. Wish I owned one!

Beautiful building (when open) great forest walk following the estuary that always seems to have interesting boats or vessels in it!
