Excellent way to skip winding local roads and cut your journey time. Also we found it rather romantic, as using a ferry is not something we do all the time. The ferry takes up a good number of vehicles, so if you are waiting in the queue on the riverbank most likely that you will board the ferry. If you are a tourist I would recommend to get a return ticket. I think we spent no more than 10 minutes waiting for the ferry.

Very quick efficient service considering. Done for the experience with my young children. Obviously quicker and cheaper alternative to drive round but the kids loved it and wanted to go on it again.
Handy little crossing, only did it for a bit of an experience whilst traveling in the area, but Eric seemed to enjoy it lol
Fabulous unique 8 minute crossing. Still just enough time to raise a glass of champers for sail away! Have to stay in your vehicle but wind the window down of course Great staff, pleasant, efficient & friendly. The Roseland Pennisular is beautiful. We cycle round the coast & country lanes & often get lost. Some beaches get very busy in Summer.
Saves quite a few miles for us as we were staying in St Just. Plus having lovely views while traveling across the River Fal
