Fantastic fish and chip shop, not just any ordinary chippy but a phenominal one! I had the sea bass and chips, I've got to admit it was one of the best fish and chips I've had. You will wait due to the popularity of the 'plaice' and have to queue but its well worth the wait. It's not too expensive considering the cost of a standard fish supper these days, we will be back!

Brilliant that you can get a lobster supper. Lobster is never cheap but this was reasonable and you need a treat in these times. Also had a squid supper. Very nice too. Would have been 5 stars if the chips were better. Squid also need a choice of sauces.

Best chip shop in the west of Scotland, if not all of Scotland! There is a wait, usually (we waited 2hrs last time we went), but it is definitely worth it. The fish is as fresh as it's possible to get as the place is in the harbour, and the fishing boats offload into the fish market, which is just across the road! The batter is light, crispy, and delicious, enhancing the flavour of anything that it coats. It really is worth the trip and the wait.

Be prepared to wait. 1h 45 minutes we waited for our food. 1h 20 to order then another 20 mins before we got a buzz to collect. That said, it was tasty. We had haddock and chips, scampi and chips and a portion of tempura calamari because we were intrigued and hank marvin two teas and it came to 25. Good sized portions, fresh and delicious. The monumental wait almost ruined it though.
