Deer stew was delicious!!! Place is really small though and tables are very little and pretty tight if you have my space issues. But I would definitely recommend to try the food, it’s very good.
If you are looking for a vintage causy feeling and good food that is the place! Highly recommended

A super cozy and charm Cafe with long history. The staff were friendly and lovely. I love how they decorate the restaurant. I believe you can find any other restaurant with this kind of style. Well, at least this is the first one I have ever seen. You must come to pay a visit to Baklandet Skydsstation when you are in Trondheim. Highly recommended.
Very nice people working there. Very good food quality. Unique sitting place experience. The only problem I may have with this place is that is a bit out of range for students (maybe) Their butter and bread is very much recommended. Their corn soup as well. I enjoyed my experience there very much.
Really nice experience! Both the food and the place give the feeling of eating at a Norwegian grandma's place. The food is really good and the service even better. Really nice and friendly staff. A must if you want to have a taste of Norway. Had the fish soup, the raindeer stew and blueberries cheesecake. They also offer beer and aquavit to go with it.
