I have only tried Trinity's coffee. I acquired a bag of their lovey beans at NL Craft Council's pantry on Water Street, St. John's, and the java is terrific! I live upalong, but if I ever make it to Trinity during a visit to the Rock, I will look forward to enjoying a cuppa in their cafe.

The mercantile shop is now closed but I was able to get the coffee beans at the dock marina. Their coffee is excellent!

While Trinity Mercantile prides itself on coffee, they do not have an espresso machine. They roast their coffee, which could be more based on economics than good taste. The space is nice and needed in Trinity but by observing the success of other places on in Newfoundland maybe they could get a few hints of how to make a coffee shop appeal to a newer sophisticated generation of people.
Amazing smoked salmon bagel! So good I had the! Overall great vibes and awesome service. Great spot to eat when visiting.
