A bit of an unusual review perhaps. I did make a booking at Regina Beach Bungalow but due to a change in travel arrangement could no longer go the Trincomalee. There was not option for free cancelation but I contacted Regina Beach Bungalow and explained the situation. They were understanding and did not charge anything. What a great service!

The bungalows are spacious and comfortable. There are only three, so it is very calm. They are located right next to the beach, where you can lounge in chairs. The best things about this place are the very kind and helpful staff, and the great cooking done by Shanti (whose husband will be happy to drive you where you need to be with his tuktuk). Highly recommended!
Fantastic place for family holidays!
We booked in for five nights as a treat for my husband’s birthday and decided to stay even longer because we enjoyed it so much. The bungalows are set in a very peaceful spot with a 30 second walk to a lovely quiet beach, the rooms are very spacious and very clean. Breakfast and dinner are served at your own private table outside your bungalow and if you need anything organised for your trip then Kohilan on reception is definitely the right person to ask. The perfect spot for people who want some peace and quiet so they can relax.
