This place is in a great location by the water and in a huge piazza and has quite a bit of history (and reputation) and is therefore quite popular. We had to wait in a line outside until a certain number of people came out before we were let in. The staff is quite kind, polite, and efficient (which in busy, hectic atmospheres in Italy sometimes isn’t the case). We just got cappuccinos (with complimentary hot chocolate shots on the side), and they were good, and it was pretty inside, but... I guess I was expecting more. Good to warm up for a minute or to use the bathrooms! We weren’t willing to wait any longer to get a table so we just stood at the bar.

The best hot chocolate I ever had. The prices may really be a little higher, but when you count in the service quality and presentation of drinks you realize that in reality, cheap cafés are the ones that have the prices set too high.
Wonderful place with a sea view for a morning coffee or evening’s glass of Prosecco served with small appetizers.
The place is so great that a visit to this café is worthwhile. It felt like we were here every day for an aperitif and enjoyed it. By the way, the staff is awesome!
