My mother was on hold for 5 hours. Not an exaggeration, literally FIVE hours. I sat with her and waited and waited. I see other reviews saying people had to wait long times for an answer. I understand they may be busy but 5 hours?! At least have an option to leave a voice message. My mother is I need of health benefits after working for 25 years.

the state should not even get one star. they are inconsiderate, and just do not answer the phone. who has 2-3 hours during their day to wait, and then you get no resolution, they do not solve anything! horrible how we are treated!
I have called at least 10 times a day for the last five days and I cannot get anyone to answer my call. When I called I would get the waite was 60 or more minutes and then the phone would disconnect the same thing with the automative system you listen do everything they ask and then you get call back later. You get the same answer all the time. What is going on. If the system is not working it would be nice if someone would let you know what is going on. At least other agency will answer your phone call after holding on but not the division of pension and benefits.
You have to call at 8:00 a.m. and wait on hold for many hours before you get to talk to somebody. Then that person doesn't actually do anything. I've been trying to get something resolved for months. Horrible service for people who have spent their lives working for the people of NJ. Shameful.
It is always such a long wait to talk to someone. I have been on hold for more than an hour and half now. I read a review of someone on hold for five hours. Friggin crazy! This is unacceptable poor service, and a total disrespect of our time, but this has been allowed to continue on for years.
Bad.keep put me on hold.1 and a half and never answer.twice.i went Trenton in person.the guard told me they closed.they dint answer the phone to tell me it was closed.my wife is at the crisis center hospital with no help
On hold for more than 2 hours and god forbid you get disconnected because when you call back they say they are no longer accepting calls smh
