Been there in December 2019. Amazing place revealing an important part of the ancient past of Trento: the Tridentum city of the Roman period. The museum is very well maintained and is definitely worth a visit. Professional staff. Recommended.

Very cheap, small but comfortable, a hidden gem under Battisti Square and the perfect place to get warm while visiting Christmas markets!

Totally different! Well preserved parts of the old Tridentum, where you get to walk above the mosaics and on the actual ancient Roman ground with cobble stone. Lovely and welcoming staff! It is quite hard to find because the entrance is not highlighted in any special way. And for the price of 2 euros (!!!) come on, it is a must see! If you are under 27 you get the additional discount (as almost everywhere in Trento). One tip: they usually do not ask for an ID ;)
