Lovely cafe with friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately had limited menu if you don't eat meat or dairy. This may be due to Covid being prevalent at the time of visiting and they did arrange for non dairy alternative to butter on request

Amazing food and friendly staff. We went on a Sunday lunch time so booked ahead just in case. Ordered two Cornish cream teas and a Nick's savoury tea. The homemade scones came out lovely and warm, fluffy. The flavours with the savoury tea were amazing, the whole lot was homemade, lovely cheesy flavour to the savoury scones and the chutney was honestly the best flavour I have experienced. I tried the savoury because it looked different and was a change and I was not disappointed at all. I will be planning to come again as there was so much on the menu I wanted to try but wouldn't have been able to eat it all!
Read good reviews about this place for afternoon tea. It says it's open till 4pm. Arrived just after 3pm - saw the sign for the tea room in the car park confirming it was open till 4pm but underneath it said last orders at 3pm. Walked to the door to find it was locked. So basically, what they should advertise is that it closes at 3pm & anyone still inside at that point can stay until 4pm. What a wasted journey!
Simply loved the sunny outdoor seating. Well organised from social distance point of view. Friendly and attentive staff. Good selection of fresh daily specials as well as a range of sandwiches and toasties.
Friendly staff, great food and really nice surroundings to sit in or out and enjoy! I had the Cornish sausage, mature cheddar and spicy tomato chutney toastie... Couldn’t fault it! Will be back again soon.
