Always feel very welcome here, and enjoy the well prepared food and drink. Have just had our first takeaway, roast beef Sunday lunch. Way better than I expected, very tasty, and plenty of it! As so many people are saying at the moment, we need to support our local businesses, and The Travellers Rest is a business that's well worth supporting.

Date Of Visit 14/08/20 Impromptu visit for a pint after a lengthy excursion around Delamere. Lovely surroundings, lovely clean presentation and extremely welcoming staff. Estrella was the drink of choice. Absolutely stunning pint. Would definitely visit again and try lunch next time. The quality of the food coming out looked really good and was reasonably priced.
Lovely food - turkey roast on a Sunday was lovely. Desserts (chocolate and honeycomb cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding) were lovely too. Staff all friendly and helpful too. Definitely go again or recommend others to go.
Nice little pub, out the way and quiet, nice beer garden for a (socially distant) pint when the weather's nice. Interesting and unusual drafts too which is good.
