Good food and cosy place
like
selected wine not available, offered wine could not be tasted. shrimps over-seasoned, rosemary without any rosemary at all, saltimbocca overcooked and zucchini gratin with uncooked cheese in the middle. guess they know why we haven't heard the common \ça a été?\...
Turned aeay as no reservation made, i could count 8 or 9 tables empty. Very blunt and rude. If you expect to walk in to an Italian resturant in Reims ensure you book before hand. Apparantly being hungry and having the means to pay is not enough.
Liked it! Very friendly staff and very nice food. Carpaccio with risotto is great!
Is it wrong to be in France and go out for Italian? Heck no. Food was really good and the service delightful. The place delivers, too, and based on the traffic, is popular for that.
Good value but a little soleless
Good pizza, I would make a better carbonara
Needed a fix of Italian and we have literally driven from city to city for the past few days looking for one that was open (it's close to Christmas). Ended up here yesterday, salivating at the idea of fresh tomatoes on pasta. Appetizers: Bruschetta and Buffalo di Mozzarella. Bruschetta was excellent. Had a zing of essence of truffle with each bite. A. Buffalo was pretty good - it was fresh and creamy but the bread served alongside it wasn't great. Free bread rolls were hard and not very good. Main entree: Veal with sphaghetti. Save your money and don't get this. Spaghetti tasted a bit like chef boyardee. Veal was tough and chewy. Desserts looked good but we didn't get any. Service: There's the owner(?) woman and what appear to be her two 18-20 something children. The children do not do much. The woman tries to serve all the tables (not exactly a warm personality... one might even say on the bitchy spectrum). One person serving all the tables in the restaurant means that service is very very very slow.
