Simply the best restaurant in Mentone. Great food, friendly and professional staff, excellent location. I really enjoyed my meal at la trattoria. Valerio the owner is a superstar and he knows how to please people. Something special happens in kitchen too, where the chef “mamma francesca” prepares such an amazing pasta and tasty desserts (trying her tiramisu is strongly recommended). I will definitely go back again.

Menu changes daily as they only fix meals with the freshest ingredients. My colleagues and I came here two nights in a row because we were so impressed. Had British server who was brilliant and made ordering in English easy. Super nice staff - Mamma herself came out to chat with us.
The food was very tasty and the portion big. The staff was super friendly. We closed with a tiramisu which was very very creamy, not to be missed!
Great fresh authentic Italian food by \Mamma\. Can highly recommend everything, especially to finish off with a tiramisu... heaven.
Fresh home made Italian food
We had the \Last Supper\ before all restaurants were closed to the public. Excellent food and lovely people. I look forward to returning when everything returns to some form of normality. I'm so happy that we can order take-away during lockdown.

An excellent experience. The menu changes daily according to what’s fresh and in season. Knowledgeable and passionate wait staff; most importantly, the food is phenomenal, executed with an excellent understanding of flavors. Would return, and return again.
