It was a very neatly manicured Japanese oasis & teahouse. Very beautiful and calm garden in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. You could feel the zen all around. Our Hotel was a short walk from this place so we went there almost strolling around during the day.

Beautiful park in Toulouse, incredibly well kept and very relaxing for a walk or a coffee break. The garden is well cleaned and there are several information panels to explain what everything is. I highly recommend this park for a walk or a break form the busy city.

I love Toulouse, same as Lyon. Everybody is talking always and only about Paris.. Come here :)

Beautiful and very calm garden. The Japanese bridge and wooden house are wonderful and a great photo opportunity. I also quite liked the bamboo trees. It's a great place to read and to relax.

The secluded part of the garden with the red bridge is remarkable. Also the playground for kids is a big big plus. On top, there's a nice little coffee place where crepes are being served too.

Toulouse is known for its beautiful parks, but this tiny and well maintained Japanese garden is with no doubt the nicest one of all. It has been officially classified as a emarkable garden of France\ and the winner of the grand prize in 1993. Although it's very small (it is set within a pleasant larger park) it's all I needed after having a busy day in Toulouse. You probably won't find it by chance, as it's not very close to the city center, however it's still possible to reach it on foot. Another option is to go by metro - the garden is between Canal du Midi and Compans Caffarelli stops. Bicycles are not allowed inside it, but there is VélôToulouse bike station around 200 meters away. The entrance is free.

It's good to know that they usually close it according to weather conditions. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The access is free. If you look at the map, the garden is not very big. It's not usually crowded, so it's perfect for taking nice pictures.

A must visit in any season. Each season reveals the beauty of the garden in its own way. Whether you seek just tranquillity or a day out picnic with kids, you won't be disappointed. Well equipped play ground, carousel will keep the kids busy while you choose to take a stroll or munch something at the café.
