Casa Juan is a genuine sea fruits restaurant that I was looking for since I arrived in Málaga. The waiters are multi lingual and very attentive to details. There is a lot of space in the room. The menu proposes many combinations of fish and shellfishes. For every combination there is the corresponding picture which is really helpful. The food is very fresh and tasty. The ratio price quality corresponds to the high quality standard (see an example of the menu as picture). This is my recommendation for a true shellfish restaurant experience.

We were looking for the perfect paella for our last day, so we went to la carihuela upon a taxi driver's advice. This place seemed quite good (based on its TripAdvisor score); but we were a bit disappointed. We took the 'mariscos paella' which seemed to be well garnished. The service was good; the waiters were kind - the food was tasteful; but the paella wasn't awesome. It was good; but below our expectations to be honest. Rice was a bit too cooked (too long under the grill). The sea food was fresh and good; but it's really the rice which screwed it... unfortunately.

Traditional Spanish food. Staff were very helpful and food was delicious. Had the creamy seafood rice. Would recommend
