Torrance House Golf Club

It's a really good challenging course although not being maintained properly. For the price they charge it should be maintained a lot better. Some greens are poor and bunkers look like they haven't been touched in months. Shame really.

Nice course with some difficult holes. A little bit expensive though. Charging private course money for public course, in my opinion. Twenty pound midweek and twenty three at the weekend. They take a contact details for each booking, don't know why, never did it before, possibly covid, but they never stated it was. Don't know if they can keep persons details under GDPR regulations. You can refuse. A nice course though and worth a visit

Please note, this Review is for Fairmont -Torrance Golf Course , St Andrews. The Greens left me disappointed , despite only played at weekends , the were very sandy and quite bare. The staff in the pro shop were very nice and welcoming. The course was hard in sections, but not impossible, even for a high handicapper, another course ticked off the Golf course bucket list.
