Oakenden Bike Polo

Excellent small group surfing lessons for beginners. Andy was the instructor and he was very informative and helpful throughout the experience. He had us all standing up quickly after only a couple of waves! Surf did die down after about an hour as quite a calm day but he let us out on the paddle boards to not waste the day! Would definately recomened to anyone!

Great surf lesson, instructor (Dan), place and life guards. Only 4 stars as poor facilities. You park at the top of the cliff and go down to the beach following a pedestrian access road with steps at the end. A bit challenging the way back.

Couldn't recommend this enough. Had a great lesson with Andy surfing and when the waves died down a little, we got the paddle boards out. Absolutely great experience and fun. Hopefully will be back again soon! Many thanks from Charlie, Ellie, Sam and Harneil.

My children (aged 10) had a fantastic group surf session with Andy at Adventure Bay Surf School, they loved every second and were begging to go back and have another go. Really easy online booking process and such a lovely location.

I joined to ladies club about 2 months ago and have absolutely loved it. The staff are really friendly whilst also being informative and supportive. Thanks to Dan's instruction, I am now really happy catching waves on a foamie and I am progressing onto a hard board. All the other ladies have made it a really special time too, I have made some great friends there. Adventure Bay Surf School has managed to makes a very strange summer a really special time. They still ensured everyone was safe and put measures in place for social distancing, but we all still got to feel the freedom and joy that surfing brings. There are plenty of boards to choose from, plus paddleboards if there isn't surf. The beach is beautiful. The surf is often gentle which makes it great for learning. It does take a little while to get up and down to the beach but I like that as it means the beach doesn't tend to be really busy and it is extra fitness. I have also seen dolphins there twice!
