I am regularly here every couple weeks and seems to be lots of new vinyl each time. Albums are always in great shape unless otherwise labeled. Have been to other places and have no need to go anywhere but here. For price and condition they cannot be beaten.

Gargantuan selection of CDs and vinyl. Good prices. Super knowledgeable staff - don't be shy to tell them what you like and ask for recommendations. This is the perfect used music store. Just don't expect much luck with selling your used discs to them.
I visited here last week. It's store up a narrow flight of stairs off Yonge and Eglinton. It is a small store but fairly well organized. The prices were great. The selection and quality of used vinyl was decent as I found a few Led Zeppelin and a Black Sabbath that were in great condition. He also had a small selection of new vinyl which was priced lower than an Amazon.
EDIT: based on the awesome feedback from the team at VORTEX. NOT so Sad. Looks like the "Vinyl Ressurgance" has taken its toll on poor Vortex. EDIT: Understanding that we have been in a deep freeze, the reply from the Vortex owner alerted me that music lovers aren't going to be making trips down to Vortex to sell stuff and thus replenish the inventory. Makes sense, its been terribly cold! I'm awaiting spring to make a return. Also, for the staff to reply on google is fantastic. Apologies for mis-judging the store-keeper, as I did note she was quite helpful to anyone that did have a question or was looking to buy/sell. --------------------------- The crates have been well leafed thru and the selection is awaiting spring. I spent almost an hour and still wasn't finished with what was there. It was either the titles or the pricing, but there wasn't anything on vinyl that "i just had to have", but this isn't HMV... I had only been there a couple times before and each has been pleasant with a true music loving gentleman behind the counter.
Sold these people some records and was treated with respect and given what I consider a fair price for the albums they were interested in. When I get my health problems sorted out and am in a better position funds wise I will be back as they seem to have a good selection across a good range of music styles and types.
